100 Days: Day 28

Andrey Alexandrovich Smirnov
Andrey Alexandrovich Smirnov

I have finished the portrait of my father today. It is signed and ready. Now my mother can take it with her back home to Russia. It was hard to work on it as I was very attached to the person, and was worried to make a mistake. This painting looks a lot like my dad, it is a good solid work in my opinion, but it is missing some creativity and looseness. I went the way that allowed me to be correct and do not allow me to be creative. Painting portraits is really hard, I have to admit.
