By the invitation of my new artist friend Mary F. Rhinelander, amazing printmaker from Gloucester, I have visited Boston Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) for the 1st time yesterday. We went to see an impressive printmaking show of Alex Katz. This is the most striking printmaking show I have seen! Large scale etchings, screen prints, lithography is so elegant, simple and memorable! I think we all could study from Mr. Katz how to use color correctly. His color combinations are just stunning, I would say that this was my favorite part of the show.
This is a must to see show! Don’t miss it, it is running till July 29, so there is still some time left.
